I personally do not like my food in the fridge for more than 3-4 days so I will meal prep 2-3x a week with about 3-4 days worth of food.
Grocery shopping for me is 2x a week.
Cooking for me is 2-3x a week.
If you’re super busy you can meal prep 1x a week & grocery shop 1x a week.
This is the most strategic part of nutrition but the good news is you only have to do it once and you’re set for your journey.
How to evenly divide up macros into meals.
Step 1. Choose how many meals a day you want between 3-5x a day. (You may do more if you’d like but the more meals the smaller the portions.
Step 2. Divide your macro grams by the amount of meals you choose.
Example. 120g of protein 5x a day (120/5) is 24g of protein per meal.
Step 3. Repeat with all macros.
